Binding tight, no page issues noted. A rather unique copy as the half title page bears two signatures: at the bottom of the page it is signed by (Reverend) Austin F. Schildwachter, along with a symbol of a cross. The second signature, located near the center of the page, is signed by Whittaker Chambers. Mr. Chambers was an American writer/ editor and former Communist spy who in 1948 testified about Communist espionage. No other handwriting noted in the book. Pages are lightly toned with some mild soiling along the edges.
