A clean near fine copy in red cloth boards with a tiny former owner's name rubberstamped to the front free endpaper and in a bright near fine dust jacket with some very minor wear.

One of the earliest and (in this cataloguer's opinion) still one of the best full-length profiles of Sinatra, originally published as a series of articles in The New Yorker where Kahn was a staff writer for nearly fifty years. Essential for gathering the flavor and extraordinary progress of Sinatra's early fame and the post-war "bobb-soxer" phenomenon.
