Description:
New York: Doubleday, 1994. ARC . Paperback. Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. This is an Advance Reading Copy, or ARC (similar to, but not the same as an "Uncorrected Proof" or an "Unedited, Uncorrected Page Proof") - a publishing state fast becoming an attractive "collectible", as it precedes the First Edition. Houston Criminal Intelligence Division head Marcus Graver discovers an international consortium involved in selling private computerized information as well as illegal drugs and arms trafficking (activities largely financed by legitimate businessmen). 519 pages, with a promotional letter from the author laid-in. CONDITION: a bright, tight, square, unmarked, uncreased copy with negligible shelf-wear (just tiny scuffs at two spine-end corners). This beautiful, highly collectible copy is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag.
