Soiling to white rear panel. Book itself has some stains and marks to cloth and light shelf wear. Mark on front free endpaper. Some spots on text block edge, endpapers, pencil notations and underlining throughout. Orange highlighting on p. 9. Stain on upper corner of p. v. A much-sought-after early work by Terence and Dennis McKenna. Covers a lot of ground, including shamans, schizophrenia, holographic thought, the experiment at La Chorrera, the I Ching, the Timewave hypothesis and the prediction of the eschaton - the end of the world-as-we-know-it that was expected to take place on December 21, 2012.
