Mackie, Kansas City architect, dated 7-8-1927. No other markings. Hinges good; pages tight. Dorothy Parker was an American poet, writer, critic, and satirist based in New York; she was best known for her wit, wisecracks, and cryptic view of events of the time. Enough Rope is her first volume of poetry. The Nation described her verse as 'caked with a salty humor, rough with splinters of disillusion, and tarred with a bright black authenticity.'
