New York: R.H. Russell, 1900. Hardcover. Very Good. First edition. Quarto. xxxi [3], 299 [1]pp. Illustrated by Maxfield Parrish with eight black-and-white plates. Original quarter cloth and gray paper over boards, pictorial design by Parrish mounted on front cover, spine lettered in gold, top edge gilt, gray endpapers. Printed by D.B. Updike at the Merrymount Press. Spine gilt is faded, fraying to the cloth at the head and tail of spine, boards a little darkened and worn at the edges, corners are bumped, very good. An attractive copy with all eight plates in fine condition.
