Formed in 1881, the Infantry took part in both the First and Second World Wars.Illustrated with twenty-eight plates and maps, with in-text illustrations.Collated, complete.Edited by Thomas Chalmers, with a foreword by R. S. Rait.Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the British Library. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few faint marks to the boards. Light spots to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with scattered spots to the first and last few pages. Very Good Indeed
