Appendices include "the Principal Dimensions and Scantlings" from the 1789 "Shipbuilders Repository", extracts from Sutherland's 1717 "Shipbuilding Unveil'd", Griffith's 1854 "Treatise on Marine and Naval Architecture" . Illustrated with drawings and diagrams. A tight example, internally clean, Plate 25 loose but present. The words "Old Time Ships" are wriiten in black on the fore edge of the text block.
