Engraved pictorial title and half-title,original hand-coloured stipple-engraved frontispiece, 2 uncoloured stipple engraverdallegorical plates, and 28 original hand-coloured aquatint botanical plates, printed in blue on thick wove paper, each c.370 x 290mm., occasional marginal soiling, some spotting and offsetting to tissue guards only;presentation inscription by Lady Sidmouth on front free endpaper, recipient’s name partially erased, and armorialbookplate of M. Philips. Inscribed "For Miss Georgiana ………., a last remembrance from Lady Sidmouth'" presumably around 1842, the year the second Lady Sidmouth died. There is a second inscription, attached as Thornton Sidmouth 1, of 'M. Sidmouth, Richmond Park'.
