Internally good condition; outer cover soiled, torn and frayed along the edges. Hand stamped on the front cover "Glenn E. Messer Birmingham, Ala." Hand stamped on the title page, under the main title, in small type, "Glenn E. Messer". Glenn E. Messer was an aviation pioneer who trained on a Wright bii-plane with George Gustafson; instrumental in the establishment of the Birmingham (Alabama) Airport, Messer Field; established the Southern Aircraft Corporation, which built The Air Boss..
