Rough-cut pages. Black cloth boards title on spine. Front endpapers are heavily stained with coffee(?) and marked "A" in top corner. The endpaper at rear cover is also marked in green pencil. Cover corners are bumped. Top page edges are tinted red.

He organised the passive resistance in the Ruhr in 1923 and financed Hitler for 15 years before disagreeing with him, whereupon he fled to France. “No one knows what has happened to him since” says the jacket. First edition in light blue boards with black lettering to the spine (where the title and author is repeated three times), and to the front board. The dust jacket has a couple of chips and nicks to the edges and some short repairs. Scarce UK edition in good overall condition. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Category: History; .
