Mary Tourtel would go on to create RUPERT the bear as a comic strip in 1920. 5'' x 3''. Original green publisher's cloth binding. Full-page color illustrated frontispiece with color illustrations throughout. 91 pages, printed one side only. Mild soiling and edgewear to boards. Hinges expertly strengthened, occasional tiny foxing to leaves. Sound and bright.
