The book is compiled by Lily Haxworth Wallace. It ends with an advertisement for Rumford Complete Cook Book (the elongated version of this book), which can be “MAILED FREE FOR 10 Cards from ONE pound cans of Rumford Baking Powder.” Laid in is one newspaper clipping from the Chattanooga Daily Times, August 4th, 1934, with baseball news on one side and cake recipes on the other and one folded and ripped typewritten letter seemingly from W.C.
