Not much had changed since the 1700s, and not much has changed since 1976! Surprisingly when published, the illustration on the Foreword page erroneously pictures the Park Hill Meeting House in Westmoreland. A full page replacement illustration of the Walpole Academy (now the historical society) was later provided with self adhesive to go over that page. That illustration is laid in with this copy. 64pp.
