The first work of the Irish-born critic Daniel Webb (c.1719-1798), which saw some success including translations into German and French. ESTC T131072.

Slightly chipped to head of spine, rubbed to extremities, especially outer joints, four small dark patches to upper cover, corners bumped and rubbed, some light browning to pages, especially to edges of endpapers, otherwise fairly clean.
