Cloth in dust jacket, very good, book has light wear to corners and tips, jacket very good, some mild edgewear, rubbing and scuffing, spine has lost its yellow color. Inscribed a few pages in, "To John & Rosemary, all my best, Tom." Recipient was John Alfred Taylor, a fellow faculty member at the University of New Hampshire. Taylor would become a well published poet and author of short stories in the gothic horror vein, and taught at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington PA. The author's fourth book, and very scarce in the trade, especially signed. Williams won the National Book Award for a later novel.
