Front cover with spot at bottom, rear cover with several such spots, rear board with worn spot along bottom edge, spine dulled and with wear at top and bottom, front endpaper with stain, both endpapers are severely toned with resultant toning to adjacent leaves, both hinges are cracked though holding well, front flyleaf with inscription "Sweetheart from sweetheart", FFEP chipped and edgeworn, next two leaves worn along right edge, a few pages have creased corners, pages are free of writing and generally clean though the occasional spot is found. .
