Description:
This book is basically the story of Le Claire, Iowa. It's beginning and growth. There are lots of black & white photos and illustrations. There are also ads for some of the businesses at the time it was printed.
Very readable, not stuffy. Includes first-hand accounts.
Very Good- condition. Slick tan cover with brown text and brown, green, black image. Slight wear to edges/corners EXCEPT there is a small 3/8" closed tear at bottom. Front cover has some discoloration. Both covers have light rubbing, and bumping. Text is clean. Plastic comb binding is in very good condition.
