Description:
Utrecht: Utrecht University, Laboratory of Palaeobotany and Palynology, 2006. Paperback. 227p., illustrated with diagrams and tables, many printed in colors (even the tables), text predominently in English with Dutch supplementary material and a multi-lingual bibliography, softbound in 9.5x6.5 inch color wraps. Slightly edgeworn, endsheets bear a few tiny flecks of dust (thank goodness, not food flecks), a sound copy that is otherwise clean and entirely unmarked by human hand; all in all, very good condition. LPP Contributions Series / LPP Foundation; No. 21. Cover decoration is partly an artistic joke, as you will see.

Description:
Oxford: Oxford at the Clarendon Press, 1948. 31p., presswork on laid-lined paperstock, sewn pamphlet in 9x6 inch plain printed grey wraps, signatures are only partially opened (not too badly), former owner pooped out. Thread is sound, covers a little crimped and toned, clean and unmarked within, a good to very good copy. Commences, "It will, I hope, be deemed fitting that a lecture in commemoration of the work of Sir J.G. Frazer should attempt to deal with our own country's life in such a way as to bring out in some measure the deep roots of the life in a far-off past and the continuity from those times to the present''. Fleure thereupon tackles geologic history, glacial conditions during the Ice Age.
