Forty-seven issues of the 8.5x14 inch newsletter, many with horizontal fold, several with detached but present last pages,and a few issues with serious toning, otherwise generally very good. Issues present are whole numbers 22-27, 29-32, 35-38, 40, 42-46, 48-61/62, 64/65-85/85, 88/89, and 103. Some are double issues. Wartime issues discuss the plight of Nazi-occupied Lithuania, with postwar issues turning to the diplomatic struggle for independence from the Soviet Union.

[London]: Lithuanian Social Democratic Party in Exile, 1955. Pamphlet. 32p. staplebound booklet, minor toning, very good. Summary of Lithuanian history and the contemporary situation, by an exiled democratic socialist group.

Vilnius: Vilnius Mintis, 1991. Hardcover. 183p., illustrated throughout with b&w photos, some washed-out colorphotos, music notation and diagrammed acoustical tables. Text in Lithuanian. Hardbound in glossy laminated boards decorated with a zither-player. Besides zithers we see accordions, harmonicas, clickers, fiddles, drums, jews-harps, horns that look like didgeridoos, and... is that a samisen? Nice copy, cover corner-tips are fractionally turned, spine rims a bit bumped, an otherwise sound copy that is not marked in any way.

South Boston: Keleivis, 1961. Paperback. xii, 499p., provided with a number of b&w individual and group portraits, surely an immigrant grouping. Softbound in limp cloth wraps titled gilt; cover casing is pulling away from textblock, exposing badly-glued spine and some yellowed scotch tape, a few notes in pencil, an as-is "reading copy

Vilna: Bi-defus ha-almanah ṿeha-aḥim Rom, 1873. Two hardcover volumes, bound in leather, pages toned, leather worn; first volume's pagination apparently skipping a portion, several loose pages laid in at the end of the second volume. Also included is volume 1 of Sefer Menorat ha-maʼor (ספר מנורת המאור), published in Stettin (today's Szczecin, in Poland), Bi-defus shel E. Shrenṭtsel, no publication date found but circa 1860s or 1870s. Three visually appealing but imperfect volumes of Jewish text from the nineteenth century.

London: E. Marlborough & co. Ltd, 1940. Hardcover. 333p., green-cloth boards, owner's signature on paste-down endpaper, rubbed and slightly soiled boards, corners bumped, rear hinge starting, else in very good condition. Cover title: "Lithuanian Dictionary.

New York: National Committee for a Free Europe, Inc, 1953. Paperback. 197p., sewn textblock in 8.5x5.5 inch plainish wraps. Covers are a bit handled, perfectly clean (and sound) within, a very good copy. Laid into book is the publisher's bill of sale to a Berkeley address. The National Committee googles at one site as a State Department creation organized by Allen Dulles, and at another site as an anticommunist CIA front organization.

San Jose CA: the state college, 1970. Pamphlet. Unpaginated, about ten printed pages, pamphlet in 8.5x5 inch stapled printed wraps. Very sloppily stapled (by an Estonian?) so that leaves are askew in the folded cover-leaf; else clean and sound. Topics addressed include hard science, political history, literature, law and religion.

Vilnius: Mintis, 1964. Postcard. Set of 15 black and white postcards featuring scenery in the region fo the Lithuanian town; the wrap-around folder has an ownership inscription (James Bosson, the noted Mongolist), and some foxing to the front cover.
