South Africa: The Knox Publishing Company Author relates the tales of his travels around the World in 1938, not dated but believed to be published within a few years of the travels, late 1930s early 1940s? 284 pages with several old period photographs. Book is overall clean with some foxing to endpapers and first couple of pages, light foxing spots to outer edges of pages, neat previous owners details on front endpaper dated May 1942 Cape Town. Outer boards are marked, the pink colouring has a bleached effect espacially on spine,this does not detract a great deal. A pleasing copy for all its faults SEE IMAGE. Outer boards are a little faded to spine and small patch to top rear, dustwrapper is bright with a little dustiness from age some wear along edges and a couple of small tears, small old selotape mark to inner front flap. Only date inside is 1952 possibly first edition but cannot be sure. Some loose newspaer clippings about Maoris and a couple of letters from someone researching Maoris all dated 1956.
