Although Mark Simont's name is spelled correctly on the title page, this book is assumed fourth printing due the date of 1950, the fourth printing statement, and the statement of the owner's date. The book has the following flaws: edge rubbing, binding separation from text gatherings and a smudge on pp. 51-53 in the lower corner margin, slight wear to bottom cloth spine.

They believe that there is always "room for one more." Too many people in the house dancing and frolicking cause the house to fall. All turns out well as another house is erected by the invited guests. On the rear leaves are lyrics and accompanying music based on story. Scottish terms are included at the rear of the book. Line drawings with the same four colors are used.
