The dust jacket has chips and wear along the upper edges with a large chuck of 3 inches by 1 inch missing from the upper rear corner of the dust jacket.

Young readers story of a young man who moves to Nebraska during the volatile 1850s and, after meeting Abraham Lincoln, decides to fight slavery via journalism. The cloth shows just a trace of edgewear. The price-clipped jacket has light edgewear with three short (1/2" or less) closed tears (no chips). The mostly white rear panel is not soiled. This is a program for March 3, 4, and 5, 1947 for the Kearney Symphony Orchestra with Harold Cerny conducting and Robert House as soloist. One fold program by what was then called the Nebraska State Teacher's College and is now The University of Nebraska at Kearney. There is a crease across the middle of the program. Unmarked.
