There is a slight to moderate musty odor when you open and smell the pages of this otherwise fine copy in fine dj. Scarce signed.

A rollicking & rolling tale of the Oregon frontier peopled with characters that can only come from the pen of my friend John Henley. The lead character, Herman Buchman, tries to bring Marxist ideals to the frontier & falls flat on his face, managing to sell a few spurious books on the side. Other characters abound. Fine in dj.
