Fine first edition, first printing, 8vo, contains a Chronology of significant events for the Sioux people from their migration from the headwaters of the Mississippi to the Black Hills in 1775 to the Ghost Dance Religion, the killing of Sitting Bull, and the massacre at Wounded Kneein 1890.Illustrated with many drawings by Native People, maps and photographs.

The author was the "Field Secretary of the Panhandle - Plains Historical Society." Corners are bumped; the front board has four small stains, there are occasional markings and words made with a pen. The book is generously illustrated with photographs, maps, copies of handwritten letters, and an appendix.
