Very scarce- just one copy held in UK libraries and that at the London Natural History Society Library. pp. [2], 25, copied typescript. Original card covers stapled at spine with typed title to front cover. Some general wear to the wrappers, more or less split along the fold-line of the spine, a little marked. Contents very good, lightl marked to first page. A good to very good copy. Bristowe's opening paragraph reads "My original intention was to include a chapter on the relations between man and spider in my book, The Comity of Spiders (Ray Society, 2 Vols., 1939-1941). Later it seemed more appropriate to deal with this subject separately.
