Introductions by L. Frank Baum. Publisher's ads at ends. A Very Good set, lacking the original slipcase, spines are rubbed and falling apart, binding on Cinderella is gone. Interior contents are good solid some pages do have pencil writing/ marks from a child SCARCE as a complete set. Front and back cover have spots, scuffs, loss of color. Spine canvas edges have rub wear and some holes break down of canvas exterior. Some dark stains along various pages. Gold gilt mostly intact. Binding is intact, spine slightly loose from bound pages. Binding has wear down and rub wear, same with front and back cover. Corners are rubbed down. Pages have various spots stains on some pages.
