Publisher's linen-backed maroon paper-covered boards with paper spine label, octavo, pp. 85 plus additional pages listing Abbey Theatre cast (featuring Barry Fitzgerald) from September 8th, 1924, and three press notices. Modest shelf and handling wear. Soiling to linen and boards. A half-title page may have been excised, as there is a stub that runs vertically in the title page gutter (see photo for our best attempt at a close-up). Possibly a stub from the binding process, but maybe not quite narrow and uniform enough for that (?) GOOD condition withal. Author was one of the so-called "Cork realists."

Publisher's gray printed wrappers, 12mo, pp. 130. Previous owner name at top edge of title page. Wraps with a few nicks and rubs where they extend beyond the text block in a beveled fashion. Some creasing, as well, and a bit of foxing and toning internally. Ensconced by previous bookseller in a nicely fitted clear protective mylar-type wrap-around with a security sticker at its bottom rear turn-in. Advance Review copy with Random House / Vintage promotional material laid in, octavo, pp. 113 plus colophon. Good with light shelf wear & a spot of discoloration on spine near crown.

Edition limited to 500 copies, octavo, pp. v, 88 plus colophon. Selected for this edition by Edward Connery Latham. Very good and nicely done up in the publisher's cream-colored linen over boards with spine and upper board gilt-stamped black leather labels.

Softcover, octavo, pp. vi, 228. Very Good in the publisher's glossy card stock wrappers.

String-tied wraps, octavo, paginated 83-94. Illustrations. Extracted from the Journal of the Galway Archaeological & Historical Society, Volume XXIV, Nos. iii & iv, 1951. A crimping of the leaves of this publication near top edge persists throughout, thus FAIR only. Previous owner signature in a small hand at top of front wrapper, and several brief grammatical corrections to the text made in fountain pen. Withal, more than serviceable, and protected now from further wear by a clear display sleeve with white cardstock backing board. A scarce title, with a November 2018 OCLC search locating one copy only, at University College, Cork, Ireland.

Publisher's blue cloth with black spine lettering, octavo, pp. xv, 189. T. W. Rolleston portrait frontis and 15 more illustrations, as called for. Spine ends, board tips, and lower board edges are rubbed. Moderate foxing. FAIR-only price-clipped dust jacket is weary from its pre-mylar life, with chipping and erosion at spine ends, fold points, and along perimeters. A significant loss of paper at the middle of jacket's rear flap fold point (see photo). GOOD and serviceable withal. Bonus craic: Stamp (largely faded but still legible) of the great GREENE & CO. bookstore of Dublin at bottom of front paste down.

Publisher's original gilt-lettered light green cloth over darker green boards with facsimile author signature gilt on upper panel, octavo, pp. xviii, 283. Illustrated with drawings by the author. Some creasing at lower page tips up to about page 4, else Very Good. Dust jacket just a bit of shelf wear at spine ends and flap fold tips. Jacket also shows old price sticker shadow and shelf rub discoloration more readily than if publisher had chosen a darker color than white. Jacket now in removable protective Brodart.
