Fancy gold braided, cord-tied advertising booklet from Dixon Valve and Coupling Company, Philadelphia, no date, circa mid-20th century. Just light wear, as from age and careful handling, and light creasing near bottom page tips (see Photo 5). Withal, GOOD+ condition. Ensconced now in a clear protective Ultra-Pro sleeve.

Publisher's red cloth with spine lettering and ruling gilt, octavo, pp. xxxvii, 247 plus [1] page ads. Black and white illustrations. Old diagonal crease on blank front endpaper. Price-clipped dust jacket FAIR with a good deal of shelf rubbing and wear. Chipping at spine ends and flap fold tips. Tears with slight loss of paper at bottom edge of front panel and rear panel. The jacket is now in a removable sheet of protective mylar.

12mo, pp. 22. One diagram. Just mild shelf wear and a soft horizontal crease amidships, but about Very Good and ensconced now in a clear protective display sleeve with white cardstock backing board.

Publisher's green cloth with spine and upper board lettering gilt, octavo, pp. 155, [1]. Black and white illustrations. The old tissue-guarded calling card of a Penn Mutual agent is laid in near the center of the book. A two inch diagonal tear with no loss at bottom edge of title page, otherwise Very Good condition. The original glassine dust wrapper is here present, but it is tattered at spine ends and around the perimeter. We've managed to wrangle it fairly neatly into a sheet of protective (removable) mylar, however.

Privately printed by the author in stapled illustrated blue wrappers, octavo, pp. 32. Black and white illustrations. Just light wear and toning along the spine. Small old code or price number at top edge of front panel. Safely stored now in a clear new Ultra-Pro protective display sleeve.

Publisher's blue wrappers with maroon upper wrap lettering, 12mo, pp. 65 plus ads. A Comedy in Three Acts Telling the Charming Life Story of Stephen C. Foster. First presented on January 19, 1926, at Woodland Park Auditorium, Lexington, Kentucky. Wrappers with some toning and old creases. GOOD condition with a few random nicks on wrapper and page edges. Protected from further wear now in a clear new Ultra-Pro sleeve.

Quarto, pp. iv, 48. A library-card style bibliography, 3 columns per page, of nearly 900 early Pennsylvania imprints from the State Library. Introduction by Robert Bray Wingate, Chief of the Rare Books and Special Collections at the library. Just light shelf and consultation wear, and an old sticker removal shadow inside rear panel, but about Very Good in the publisher's stapled brown wrappers embellished with facsimile art work.

Publisher's green cloth with gilt spine lettering and an upper board flower decoration gilt, octavo, pp. [4], vi - [viii], 1-35, plus colophon. Tipped in are a color portrait frontis of Rachel McMasters Miller Hunt and two botanical illustrations, all by the Meriden Gravure Company. Includes a fold-out floor plan of the Hunt Library, several other black and white photos of books in the collection, and a color pressmark for the Laboratory Press. Stapled onto the final blank endpaper are (1) a card stating that copies of this book were presented to those in attendance at the library's October 10, 1961, dedication ceremony and then identifying this copy as among those sent to invitees who could not be present at the dedication; and (2) a slip of paper with the name and professional address of Frank N. Egerton, the recipient of this particular copy. A separate previous owner's 1967 name and city notation on front paste down. About Very Good condition with just light shelf rubs to spine ends and board tips.

Third edition, octavo, pp. 95 plus colophon. Illustrated. Just light wear, as with age and careful handling. Very good in the publisher's stapled, illustrated wraps.

Publisher's yellow cloth with single-ruled blue border and lettering and heraldic decorative device gilt and blue, octavo, pp. 392. Top edge gilt; other edges untrimmed. Frontis portrait of Penn and other illustrations. Unfortunate exterior smudges show up better than if publisher had used a darker colored cloth for binding, thus GOOD only.

Fair. Pamphlet, octavo, pp. 23. Removed from a bound volume. Original volume pagination (109-131) written at upper page tips. Light wear, as with age and handling; a stray stain at bottom edge of final leaf; and a vertical crease, as from folding. Nevertheless, a sound, essentially Good copy of an uncommon Lincoln-related item.
