Cinerama / Metro Goldwyn Mayer., 1965. First Edition.. Soft Cover.. Near Fine/--. 10 H x 20 W x 1/4 thick approx.. NON SMOKING STORE. MY LISTING INCLUDES PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK FOR SALE. This program is a special edition for the Cinerama version of the film. I was presented with this book, new, in 1965. Book FINE/ Covers Near Fine. Never Opened. Covers are silver with the title in white and black on front. Stapled binding. Covers are flat and undamaged, no rips, no holes, no stains. Unusually wide book. Contains story and stunning photos of the making of the film. In order to store it in a humidity free clean box, the book was folded about 4 inches at the end. A wonderful copy of this scarce special film program which was issued by Cinerama for Premier screenings of Director Stanley Kubrick’s film. 2001: A Space Odyssey was based on Arthur C. Clarke’s novel and starred Keir Dullea, Gary Lockwood and William Sylvester.
