Hi, Welcome to my Hardback Collection that spans from 1900 to 2021. This lot is a 1920 Original Hardback Wisden in Good+ Condition, This book has slightly worn boards with some marks but has bright gilt to front and spine, the pastedowns are a bit dark and the book has a general read feel. Strong hinges, nice pastedowns and clean pages with a great photoplate. Ink mark to one page as shown. Condition (Out of 10) = 7

Hi, This lot is an 1920 Original Paperback Wisden with a Facsimile Spine. In OK Condition. This book has quite dark and grubby covers with an expertly made new spine. The front cover has what looks like a tape mark to the left hand side which has been masked somewhat. The top of the page block is dark and the pages have a light aura to the top but otherwise nice and clean with an excellent photoplate. Great price. Condition (Out of 10) = 6

Hi, We recently listed a few runs of hardbacks, we split a few of the sets at customers requests and so relisting the rest of them individually and knocking 10 percent off the price to make them even more attractive. This lot is an 1920 Original Hardback Wisden. In Good to Very Good Condition, I find this a hard year to find. This book is very nice, it has had some restoration to the spine gilt and the hinges but it has done the book well, the front baord is very nice with shiny, original gilt, light wear, the spine cloth is clean with new gilt. Internally the hinges are restored and strong, the pastedowns are the usual darker yellow , part of the front right is a bit darker than the rest but internally a wonderful book, with clean white pages, tightly bound and an excellent photoplate. Condition (Out of 10) = 8

Hi, This lot is an 1920 Original Paperback Wisden. It is in Good to Very Good Condition The main thing to note about this book is the spine paper, there is quite a bit of a loss to it and a bit flakey but the book is still tightly bound and not in the need of a rebind. The covers are very nice indeed, hardly a mark, the cover is coming away from the card , internally nice clean pages and great photoplate. Condition (Out of 10) = 8

Hi, This lot is an 1920 Wisden Paperback with facsimile spine and Front Wrapper. Original Rear Wrapper. In Good+ Condition. The facsimile spine and cover are expertly made and the original rear cover is nice but worn to one side, the first and last original pages are worn too but internally it is very nice otherwise. Hi, This lot is an 1920 Original Wisden , Rebound. In Good+ condition. This book is interesting as the covers are bound inside but the outer sides of the covers have been covers in plain paper, page ii is inside which would usually not be there if the covers were removed. This book has a dark feel to it for the first dozen or so pages , there are some small dog ears at the front but after them it is very nice inside. Bound in grey boards with gilt to the front and the spine. Similar to a hardback style. Nice photoplate and tightly bound. Strategy 1 being the grab any year strategy irrespective of content and condition but at the right price. This being a rebind at a great price makes it fit that perfectly. Condition (Out of 10) = 6

Hi, This lot is an 1920 Rebound Wisden , with the original covers bound within. This book is in Good+ Condition, The boards are tan brown with gilt to the spine. The original covers are in good order but have a large mark to the front , after the covers the book is very nice inside with clean pages and excellent photoplate. Condition (Out of 10) = 7

Hi, This lot is an 1920 Original Wisden , Rebound in Very Good condition. Rebound with covers. This book is bound in light brown boards that look new with gilt to the spine. The binding is tight and well made although if being picky the front cover is bound in too tight. A couple of small marks to the covers , mainly to the inside of the front but the covers are nice, internally very good , clean pages and a super photoplate. A nice book. Condition (Out of 10) = 8

Hi, This lot is an 1920 Original Wisden , Rebound in Very Good condition. Rebound without covers. Bound in dark red boards with gilt to the spine, the binding has a nice texture to it and feels good in the hard, it is a well put together rebind. No covers but otherwise complete including the very nice photoplate, clean pages, name to page 3 of Auty and very tightly bound, a nice book. Small waxy mark to edge of binding. Hi, This is a lovely rebound 1920 Wisden without covers in excellent condition. This rebind is in Red boards with Gilt to spine. Internally excellent with very clean pages and excellent photoplate, one of the nicest run of books I have seen regading the whiteness of the pages. Very nice indeed if you do not mind the missing covers. Tightly bound. Condition (Out of 10) = 9

Hi, This lot is an 1920 Original Wisden , Rebound Without covers The binding is quite unique as the boards look like they have been taken from a hardback and what is odd is that opposite page ii is not page i it is blank so it is a bit like this is a gone wrong hardback rather than a rebind but other than the yellow paste downs and the writing on them it is the same as a hardback. I can't sell it as a hardback but a bit harsh to just call it a publishers rebind, without covers. Another comment on this is the 1500 price inside! In good condition. Hi, This lot is an 1920 Original Wisden , Rebound in Good+ condition. Rebound without the covers but apart from the covers it is complete. It is bound in burgundy with the year in large gilt to the front board. The spine has Wisden's Almanack and the year in gold gilt. The boards are nice and tidy and the pages inside very clean, the page block has a speckling effect. Nice photoplate within, ever so slight trimming but a decent book. Perfect for strategy 1 collectors. Strategy 1 being the grab any year strategy irrespective of content and condition but at the right price. This being a rebind in decent condition and at a great price makes it fit that perfectly. Condition (Out of 10) = 7

Hi and Welcome to our Store. Over the years I have picked up a few spare Hardbacks so listing them today. This lot is an 1921 Original Hardback Wisden. In Very Good+ Condition, a harder than people think book to find. This book is very nice, other than a mark to the bottom of the spine over the 1921 it is in sensational condition. No restoration. The boards are very nice and bright and mark free, the gilt is very bright, internally clean with great hinges, a couple of small cricket association stamps within but not in the way. Great Photoplate. Some wear to edge of page 196. A great price. Condition (Out of 10) = 8

Hi, This lot is an 1921 Original Paperback Wisden. It is in Very Good Condition. Always nice to list a paperback that hasn't had any restoration. This 1921 has very nice covers, the colour of the 1921 is always a touch darker than mid 20s paperbacks , this book has a very nice spine paper coverage, some minor lines forming but very tightly bound without issue (page 242/3 ever so slight weakness) , internally very good Excellent photoplate. Hi, This lot is an 1921 Original Paperback Wisden. It is in Very Good Condition. It is a very nice Wisden , the spine paper is excellent with very good coverage. The covers are very nice, a small dark patch over 1921 at the front but pretty much mark free, internally very good the only thing to note is that at the base of the book there are some small stain marks coming into the book for a few mm to the odd page but not off putting, just needs a mention. Slight bump to one corner and the cover at the bottom right is open a touch. Tightly bound, excellent photoplate. Condition (Out of 10) = 8

Hi, Here we have an Hardback for 1921, this book has had the spine gilt regilded but otherwise (apart from the last line) it is close to perfect, super inside, great front gilt and strong hinges, super photoplate and very nice inside. There is a line to the page block that has slightly indented a couple of pages. One amazing thing that I have never seen before is that the rear pastedown has been printed upside down and a bit off centre. Perhaps it makes this book extra special! Condition (Out of 10) = 8
