A large piece of paper with a note from a previous owner was at one time taped to the front pastedown. The tape is gone but has left a stain around the edges. Otherwise very good and tight. Many chips, tears and creases to all edges and flap folds. A 1 1/2" piece missing from the upper spine end. There is an ad for Boners to the rear panel. There is no evidence at all of dampness to the covers or dust jacket. With very minor bumps to the corners. The dust jacket is just about fine, not price clipped, and without the Caldecott Medal. There is also laid in loose a hand-written letter from Adamson to Noble about the book taking longer than anticipated. Noble's work is of course found throughout the book. Fairly hard bumps to the upper corners. A bump also to the upper spine end. It is otherwise very good and tight. The dust jacket has bumps to the upper corners but is otherwise very nice. Three volumes of this fine Mexican geological journal bound in one. 55, 46, & 57 pages. Illustrated with twenty-four two-color plates in volume one and several large folding plates at the end of volume three. There is a dampstain to the lower 2-3" of the entire text block. Two of the folding plates have 2" tears at the attached side. There is a round embossed stamp and another stamp to the first blank. The cover corners are bumped and there is a small chip to the leather at the lower spine. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall .
