Mounted on black cardstock (22.5x27.5cm.), the earlier photograph is captioned "Chatanika Alaska July 4th One A.M. 1909," the later photograph captioned "Midnight Ball Game Fairbanks-vs-Chatanika. June 19-1910, Huey and Hyland Foto." Light edgewear and touch of spotting and scuffing to each with small patch of surface loss to bottom left corner of 1910 photo. The 1909 photo shows a large crowd of men, women, and at least three babies arrayed across a large pile of stones and logs.
