Four two-tone photos printed on glossy paper inside. Pre wartime economy standards paper, boards are scuffed and show wear, with bumps to corners and a bump on fore edge. Textblock is foxed on fore and bottom edge, and top edge is stained pink. A previous owner wrote his name in ink on the fore edge of the textblock see scan. Three previous owners names on fep and ffep, and toning and foxing to rear endpapers. The d/w has large chips to head and tail of spine and wear and closed tears to flap hinges but it is all still in one piece. Extremely hard to find this book with a wrapper. Scuffing to the hinges, some small tears to the cloth head and tail of spine, shelf rubbing to rear board with areas of the blue cloth faded a little, bumps and rubbing to corners, textblock dusty, with a watermark on the corner of the top and fore edge, and book has a slight lean. 1st UK ed. Scarce sci fi classic. Black Boards beautifully clean, silver gilt lettering to spine. Book has a very slight lean. Textblock dusty and shows some foxing. There are no inscriptions so the endpapers and prelims are free of writing but also show foxing. The d/w is unclipped with price 10s. 6d. net. Slight fading to the spine, small chips to head of spine and general wear to flap junctions and small closed tears on rear flap and front panel junction. Price includes tracked courier postage.
