Text block only slightly tanned, mostly around the edges. With many black and white photographs of aircraft. Scarce. In near fine bright red cloth boards, gilt titles to front. The covers are very clean, tight and square. Very white, unmarked end papers and cut edges. Fine condition text block - tightly bound, straight and with very clean glossy white pages and the b/w reproductions. In near fine white dust jacket with b/w illustrations and red titles. Not price clipped. The jacket is clean with sound edges and in quality plastic cover.

Spine tight, ends sunned, lettering in gilt. Endpapers pale blue, clean, with name and address sticker on front paste down endpaper and name in ink on front free endpaper. Cut edges clean. Text block only very lightly tanned, mostly around the edges. With many black and white plates and some in colour. Dust jacket has colour photograph of gentians on front, edges chipped, top edge has tears and pieces missing. Scarce.

Quality b/w and colour plates throughout. No inscriptions, but with 'File Copy. Please Return' in feint purple stamp on front free end paper. Heavy.
