A & C Black, 1911. Fair with no dust jacket. 1911. Hardcover. This is still a lovely and hard to find book, although water damage has warped the boards and lightly marked the top page edges. The romantic English landscape paintings, tipped in on heavy paper, are undamaged, although one is loose from its backing and four of the twenty have been removed. The top of the spine is also frayed and worn, and the floral pictorial design on the front cover is faded. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .

Only markings are inscription and signature to previous owner by author. Author also penned 1st edition to title page. DJ is in protective mylar sleeve. DJ is dampstained to front and back. This edition appears to be self published, and is marked first edition in the same year as the hard cover edition came out published by Vantage Press. I do not know which is the true first. This is a spiral bound soft cover copy with illustrated blue and yellow covers. It shows minor shelf wear, except for a 1" tear on back cover. Author inscription "to Melanie from Almon Balkins". 67 pages. Poetry on California locations and mountains, as well as general topics, freedom, and religious themes. ; 8.10 x 5.20 x 0.25 inches; Signed by By Author .
