Bergamo: Edizioni Orobiche., 1945. Limited edition, number 898 of 1,000 copies printed. Signed by the author in ink on the limitation page. 26.5 x 21.5cm. Contemporary quarter red cloth over beige cloth boards with gilt title label to the spine. Original pictorial colour card wrappers bound in at front and rear. Illustrated with 48 black and white plates and one tipped-in colour plate. Loosely laid in is a photograph and a greetings card depicting paintings by Canella, the latter signed by Jean Louis-Dreyfus. A very good copy, the binding square and tight with just a little fading to the spine. The contents remain in very good order and are clean throughout.

Illustrated with 35 wood-engravings by Thomas Bewick. 36pp. Loosely contained within a contemporary full black calf folder, the booklet held in place with a black ribbon. The folder with the boards ruled in gilt, four raised bands to the spine, gilt ruling to compartments, and gilt morocco title label. A very good copy; the covers with a little toning; the contents with pp.17-20 loose but held securely in place by the black ribbon, an old clipping from a bookseller's catalogue pasted to the verso of the upper cover, and some old pencil notes to the front free endpaper verso, are otherwise in very good order. Oxford: Printed by S. Collingwood and Co. at the Clarendon Press., 1828. 32mo (9 x 5.5cm). Contemporary 'cathedral binding' of full red morocco with embossed gothic architectural decoration to the boards and spine. Owner's name "A. Berriman" in gilt to the upper board and the date "Jan. 1. 1834" to the lower board. A very good copy, the binding firm with a little rubbing to the extremities and a small worm hole to foot of the lower joint. The contents with a some cracking to the rear hinge, a little scattered foxing and some minor creasing to a few page corners are otherwise in very good order. A charming miniature prayer book in an attractive gothic 'cathedral binding'.

Original card wrappers with printed paper title label completed in manuscript to the upper cover, indicating the owner to be Edna Brown of Wrangthorn School, Leeds. 92pp., of which 58pp. bear manuscript entries. WITH: An original watercolour design for a handkerchief case, signed in pencil by Edna Brown, alongside the finished embroidered case itself, mounted on a black paper sheet and captioned in white beneath, evidently used as an aid in teaching crafts. The condition of the book is very good indeed, the binding square and firm with just a few minor marks to the covers. The contents with some occasional light toning are otherwise in very good order.
