Lyman Autographed Collection of the Forbes Library (deaccessioned ca. 1999) and with his ownership inscription at front free endpaper. This is the catalog of Dine's self-portrait mural work in Ludwigsburg in 1994 within the Kunstverein château. A preliminary statement and interview transcript with Dine are included, as well as an essay by the curator for the exhibit, Ingrid Mössinger. This copy comes directly from the library of Brenda Richardson, former deputy director of the Baltimore Museum of Art and one of the most formidable curatorial pillars and modernist advocates of the East Coast museum scene. Belt buckles tied down and numbered and first four sample pages are labeled either bronze cast, bronze + brass wire, or steel wire. Variance in design and size are subtle though apparent. Hollander would go on to produce belt buckles for the Department of Defense during the Vietnam War. Folder edgeworn, scuffed, and rubbed with brief exposure to edges. Rust-spotting and dust soiling to interior; overall Very Good.
