Light rubbing to edges of cases. Light toning to wraps, interiors clean. Published by two tuberculosis patients at Trudeau Sanitarium during the first World War, these collected pamphlets contain short selections of humor, prose, quotations, and general good cheer.

Artist and subject John Elliott's bookplate to fpd. Warmly inscribed on ffep by the author (and wife of John Elliott) to Wilhelmina R. Miller, an apparent close friend. Inscription dated February 24th,1943. Laid in is a hand-written invitation to Maud Elliott and Ms. Miller from photographer Tommie Sullivan. Overall a very interesting association copy steeped in the arts history of Rhode Island. Association copy.
