Beyond this, solid internally, with no other writing or markings to speak of. Thin octavo, including a map and 3 full-page engravings complementing Benedict's text.

A magnificent folio production, glorifying the sanctity of the tabernacle in the desert. 4 remarkable plates, each handcolored and inlaid with gold, silver and brass. The 1845 4th edition. Well-preserved and still solidly VG. Internally clean, save for light, scattered foxing to the text. Light blue cloth, with decorative blindstamping and bright gilt-lettering at the front panel. The 4 plates, which steal the show, are radiant and ethereal, in keeping with the subject they're glorifying.
