A pair of photographs of indigenous subjects in Alaska, credited H.G. Kaiser. Kaiser photographed the indigenous communities of Nome following the 1899 discovery of gold which exploded the Euro-American population of the region. One photograph shows three indigenous men outside of a store or trading post, the other shows a man in traditional dress in a studio setting.

This captivating image shows a pensive John Osborne, one of Britain's preeminent Angry Young Men of the 1950s, doubly super-imposed over a marquee for his most-celebrated work, "Look Back in Anger," playing at the Royal Court Theatre. The photo was taken by Mark Gerson, who specialized in literary portraits.
