If placed upright, the book's spine wants to naturally bend to the left, which probably caused the tear, but the book is still solidly bound and the interior is pristine. (59433) . The corners are slightly bumped and there is a small dent at the bottom edge of the rear board. The bottom 1/8" of the spine is crumpled. The open page edges are untrimmed.
