Description:
London: Various. Elliott O'Donnell's [hereafter OD] personal archive comprising some letters, photographs, manuscripts, ephemera and a dozen books. This is an extensive collection, the majority from OD's own archive, but with some seemingly supplemental items added. Highlights include OD's first published story, a collection of photographs and slides, ghost case letters, OD's passport, OD's luggage tag from the ill-fated SS Elbe, and his ARP warden's shoulder patches. There's a lengthy (c50 pages) catalogue outline. The current offering hasn't been reconciled with the 50 page catalogue, but a cursory view seems to show a comparison - in fact, the only thing I've not found that is in the catalogue is a lock of OD's hair. London: Blackwood. London, Blackwood, 1886. First Edition. First Impression. Hardback. A near fine copy. Three volumes, complete. 24pp ads.
