SCREEN MAGAZINE, a monthly Movie Magazine from Japan, published a special square-bound issue on YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE during August 1967. This issue has behind-the-scenes photos of Sean Connery, Akiko Wakabayashi and other cast members from You Only Live Twice plus scenes from earlier James Bond films. There are are over 140 photos including four coloured photographs of Connery and forty-two tinted pages in red and green. The rest of the magazine features black and white photographs and 5 fold-out pages. There is also a section dedicated to the Bond Girls featuring Mie Hama, Karin Dor and Akiko Wakabayashi. Each silver badge weighs 3 grams made of 999 pure silver and carries the images of the 5 mascots of the XXIX Beijing Olympiad. The medallion is made of bronze plated with silver and gold and carries the image of the logo of the XXIX Olympiad. An explanatory note in the album tells the background to the creation of the mascots and their significance to the Chinese people and its culture. This album was offered for sale in the Peoples Republic of China (during the Olympics) at Yuan 5,900 (approx. £600). I can find no other copies for sale on the www at this time.
