In the early 1990s, Panter debuted Jimbo, a fascinating and multi-layered work that lasted only seven issues. The series is now scarce in the marketplace, and highly sought after by collectors. As of September 2019, OCLC locates fewer than ten holdings in North America, only a few of them complete.

While OCLC shows holdings for a later publication of erotic poetry from Chiapas under a similar title (Editorial Viento al Hombro, 2007), the present collection precedes it by more than a decade and features a different roster of contributors. As of January 2022, OCLC does not locate the publication and we can find no listings online.

Contains 24 black and white images from the exhibition and three images by Shore in color. A desirable copy of this scarce work.

Illustrated poster, silkscreened in heavy black ink on good paper. Sheet is 26 x 20 in ; image is 18.5 x 13 in. 50 or fewer copies are known to have been printed. An excellent copy, obtained directly from flat file storage by the exhibition curator, Marc Miller. Minor mar-ginal toning, else near fine. Miller tells us that this poster was created by students in Al Brunele's printmaking workshop at School of Visual Arts in vanishingly small numbers, advertising an exhibition of works by "Diego Cortez, John Holmstrom, M. Henry Jones, Robert Mapplethorpe, Ruth Marten, Miller-Ringma-Hoppe, Pat Place, Screaming Mad George, Arturo Vega, and more…" Originally presented in D.C. with Washington Project for the Arts from May 10-June 15, 1978, Punk Art was staged at SVA's amphitheater in New York City as a one-night-only, multimedia event in November 1978. Written by David Wise (formerly of the pro-Situ group King Mob) in 1978, the text which is now known as "The End of Music" first circulated as mimeogeraphed typescript entitled "Punk, Reggae: A Critique" mainly among leftist intellectuals in the Leeds area of the United Kingdom. It compares and contrasts underlying strategies inherent to so-called punk and Situationist social critiques, and examines some of their common roots in the milieu of the late 1960s: "Part of the genesis of punk goes back 10 years to the English section of the Situationists and the subsequent King Mob group, a loose affiliation (hardly a group) of disparate though confused revolutionary individuals in England in 1968."
