Stylish b&w illustrations by Rosamund Seymour. Dustwrapper a little bumped at edges with a couple of tiny nicks at top of spine; slightly sunned in places but not price-clipped. Book itself is very good.

Boards are bumped and scuffed but still good. Unfortunately front board has come away from text block and cloth covering to spine has folded back. Also rear paste-down endpaper has been partially peeled away. Staining to front end papers but otherwise text block in very good condition. Unpaginated. Each page beautifully illustrated in black and white (some illustrations are full-page, others set around verse). Charming verse for children. A lovely book if in need of some care.

Book very good clean and tight.

Quite sensitively rebound with original gilt-stamped spine neatly laid onto a new cloth spine, marbled boards bumped and rubbed at extremities. New endpapers laid in. Title page a little bumped and worn with a miniscule loss to lower front corner of first 20 or so pages (text block entirely unaffected). Very occasional foxing and marks, but text block is generally quite clean. Sound tight copy; a very professional rebinding. Size: 16.5 x 10.5 Cm
