About half of the illustrations are in color and half are in black & white A great connection to 19th century Italy. Maintains its full beauty. Insides are fair with weak binding and cracked front hinge. Fairly rare piece of children's fiction that would make a great part of any 1880s collection as this exemplifies spine/cover illustrations of the time. New York: Ivison, blakeman, taylor, and company, 1885. First Edition . Hardcover. Good. This is a very good 1st edition copy of Fisher's outlines of universal history. The binding is very good and there is only minor where to the edges and corners. The spine does have some more moderate wear on the top and bottom, however most of the leather is fully intact and unbroken. Owner's mark in the back cover. Contains at least one folding map that I could find which is an impeccable condition. The table of contents does not list how many folding maps there are, but I am certain that if there are more, they are present. Contains dozens of full page and 2 page colored maps. Boston: The Atlantic Monthly Press, 1919. Cloth. Good. An interesting book written by the sister of the subject, Carleton H. Parker. In addition to the nice inscription on the front end page, there is an additonal note written in before the title page that says "P. s., the signature under the photo isn't his real signature, it was his secretary's writing"Front hinge is a little weak and there are some minor cosmetic issues. halter. First Edition . Very Good. Overall very good condition with a good dust jacket. Does jacket has some minor tearing to the top edges but it's complete without any major tears or rips. Book itself is very clean and very tight with good binding and good hinges. A great recollection of the history of American swords worn by the uniformed offices of the United States from the revolution to the close of World War 2. Being a full description of the famous and wonderful Simsbury mines and caverns and the prison built over them 2 witches added a relation of all the incidents insurrections and massacres connected with their use as a prison for The Tories during the revolution and otherwise with interesting sketches of their surroundings in East Granby also an illustrated description of the state prison at Weathersfield. In overall fair to good condition. wearing at corners. Binding and spine are all intact but not 100% structurally sound. Pages are bright and clear along with illustrations. Only light foxing on front end pages.

Some scribbling, which has also been pictured near the end of the book. Has mild foxing on edges and mild, even browning. Personal inscription from an aunt to a niece, Christmas 1924. This address  Was given only 3 months before the eventual treaty which would incorporate New Mexico, California, and other Mexican territories to the United States.
