There is a small dampstain on the lower edge that doesn't affect any content. The rear hinge is fully cracked, but still attached by the binding. Here's the interesting aspect of this book: There is a handtyped list tipped in to the rear free end page listinng all the members of the (private) "Hummelstown Book Club", along with the week they were to have possession for reading. I don't have any way to verify this but the typing appears to be from a manual typewriter, assumed from the 1920's. Stated First Edition.
