Presentation inscription "To Minnie Griffiths 1951 from Auntie with every good wish, Ethel Mildred Griffiths.". Pasted to the front endpaper, preliminaries, and rear pastedown are original photographs and Victorian carte de visites of the Griffiths, Gilmore Griffiths and Lloyd families (most with identifying ink annotations). Loosely inserted to the rear is a May 1952 postcard "Picnic Ground, Crystal Springs, Matamata" with inkstamp and notes, and an envelope 'For Emmie' containing loose photographs and a 3 page letter from Bill Griffiths (of Howick, Auckland, New Zealand) relating to the death of his father and providing / requesting genealogical material. A most interesting association copy.
