Three postcards in colour of BOAC Hermes Speedbird. 3, Two open ended envelopes containg luggage labels. 4. Gate fold safety leaflet. 5. Broadsheet promoting the Festival of Britain events in towns and cities throughout the country in addition to the main exhibition venues, folded size 225x103mm, flat size 420x500mm. The highly decorative route map is in fine condition as are the rest of the items. For 'passenger reassurance' the safety leaflet states that all Speedbirds flying long distances over the sea, carry self inflating Dinghies sufficient to carry all passengers and crew. With each dinghie there is a small raft carrying provisions, first aid packs and a small but powerful radio transmitter.
